Terms of Use

These terms supplement Apple's Standard EULA for App Store purchases.
By downloading or using CountBy5 (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
A study aid only
- CountBy5 is an independent study aid for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).
- CountBy5 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). PTCB and PTCE are trademarks of their respective owners.
- Using the app does not guarantee that you will pass the PTCE or any other exam. Readiness scores in the app are estimates, not official or predicted exam scores.
- We work to keep the content accurate and current, but it may contain errors or become out of date as laws, references and products change. It does not replace official PTCB study materials, your training program, current drug references, or professional advice. Never use the app to make decisions about real patient care.
Subscriptions
- CountBy5 Pro is offered as an Exam Pass at $24.99 every 3 months, or Monthly at $9.99 per month. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by country; the price shown in the App Store or Google Play at purchase applies.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal study. You may not use the app for any commercial purpose.
Our content
The questions, explanations, flashcards, drills and other content in the app are protected by copyright. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, publish, sell, or redistribute them, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including exam results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
